9/11 Consensus Panel

9/11 truthers must focus on destroying the official story, not splintering over dozens of theories

We must also resist those in our movement who want us to accept more and more of the official account

May 1, 2017

By Craig McKee

It’s a question you would think we would have answered long ago: How can we collectively pull the truth out of 9/11 if we are pulling in different directions?

As determined and sincere truth seekers, we continue to do what we can to open the eyes of people everywhere to the fact that they have been lied to about 9/11. But to be successful, we must also explain what those lies are. In other words, we have to show how the official story of this world-changing event cannot be true.

This raises another crucial question: does the 9/11 Truth Movement have a strong and coherent message—one that is understandable and potentially (more…)

Not a shred of evidence that any 9/11 ‘hijackers’ boarded any planes

Atta and al-Omari in Portland: note two different time stamps.

Atta and al-Omari in Portland: note two different time stamps.

By Craig McKee

To believe the official story of 9/11 you have to swallow an awful lot. You have to believe the laws of physics can be suspended for a day, that planes can disappear after crashing, and that Muslims accused of being suicide hijackers can still be alive after the deed is done.

About that last one. Essential to the deception was the premise that 19 Muslim extremists hijacked four domestic flights on the morning of September 11, 2001 with the intention of flying them into predetermined targets.

But do we really know who these alleged hijackers were? Do we know they carried out any hijackings? Do we know they were even at the scenes of the crimes? In fact, as researcher Elias Davidsson demonstrates in his recent book Hijacking America’s Mind on 9/11: Counterfeiting Evidence, there is not one shred of authenticated evidence that any of the 19 men blamed for the “attacks” ever boarded any planes. And even if there were, this would not prove they participated in (more…)

New consensus points show NIST ignored critical WTC 7 evidence: AE911Truth may launch suit

Building 7 small fire

“NIST simulations omitted basic structural supports that would have made this girder failure impossible.”

By Craig McKee

They admit they ignored evidence, and they don’t care.

According to one of three new points released this week by the 9/11 Consensus Panel, the National Institute of Standards and Technology has dismissed the importance of architectural drawings for World Trade Center Building 7, accessed through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which prove that the claim that the building was brought down by office fires cannot be correct.

If NIST doesn’t correct its faulty technical analysis, it could find itself being sued by Architects and Engineers for 9/11 (more…)

AE911Truth backs plan to form 9/11 Truth party in Canada

Canada votes 911 at the polls

By Craig McKee

The planning process is under way to form a new political party to run on a 9/11 platform in Canada’s 2015 federal election.

Fifty potential candidates responded to an appeal to run in October of next year from AE911Truth’s Richard Gage on his recent cross-Canada Rethink 9/11 tour. Gage asked members of the audience at each tour stop whether they would be willing to put their names forward. At the Montreal presentation, I was one of four who did.

The only Canadian who has run for a major political party while supporting the 9/11 Truth movement is Bev Collins, who is co-ordinating this new effort. Collins ran in 2008 for the New Democratic Party (which is currently Canada’s Official Opposition, holding 99 of the country’s 308 seats in the House of Commons), and she finished a very respectable second in her British Columbia riding.

In an interview, Collins explained that she had been asked earlier this year by AE911Truth to consider running for Parliament again on a 9/11 Truth platform. She says she indicated at the time that she would much prefer that a team of candidates be put (more…)

9/11 film reaches beyond the choir: 50 questions that blow ‘debunkers’ away

September 11 - The New Pearl Harbor

By Craig McKee

The questions have been debated since the very beginnings of the 9/11 Truth movement.

How do we get people who believe the official story of 9/11 to consider the possibility that what they’ve been told is false? How do we go beyond preaching to the choir? And at what point is it necessary, or desirable, to simplify and/or soften some of the truth to avoid scaring people off?

The question is being asked again (well, at least by me) following the recent release of Massimo Mazzucco’s impressive five-hour, three-part documentary September 11: The New Pearl Harbor. The film brings together evidence from dozens of sources (particularly documentaries and TV programs) on 9/11. It ties this evidence together very nicely and makes it clear and easily understandable, particularly for those who are (more…)

Questions about 9/11 conference end with its cancellation: Pentagon proposal has to wait

Our presentation would have shown that this was the scene of a faked plane crash.

We would have shown this to be the scene of a faked plane crash.

By Craig McKee

An international conference on 9/11 being organized in France by a little known quantity within the 9/11 Truth movement, literature professor William Schnabel, has been cancelled for unknown reasons.

The conference was scheduled for Sept. 11-13 at the University of Lorraine in the city of Nancy. Schnabel, who teaches at the university, issued a “call for papers” last fall – with a Dec. 25 deadline for submission. Those wishing to make presentations to the conference were required to submit a 300-word abstract stating what their presentation would be about. Those selected would be informed by Feb. 1. Before that date arrived, however, we got the news that there would be no conference. Participants were informed in a brief email. No explanation was (more…)

‘Propaganda team’ uses contrived Pentagon fight to derail 9/11 Truth movement

Ryan, Chandler, Legge and the rest of the gang would have us believe this is a picture of a plane crash.

By Craig McKee

It has been a very good year for the small but relentless group that wants evidence of a faked plane crash at the Pentagon on 9/11 taken off the table.

The group has scored a series of victories in recent months that have hurt the Truth movement and created a “lowest-common-denominator” approach to evidence and to building the case against the official story.

The clique in question includes Kevin Ryan, David Chandler, Jonathan Cole, Frank Legge, Jim Hoffman, Victoria Ashley, Chris Sarns, Justin Keogh, Michael Wolsey, Gregg Roberts, Erik Larson, and several others who have become “respectable” members of the movement (we know they are because they regularly endorse each other and cite each other’s “research”).

For a decade, we’ve seen an orchestrated and determined effort by this small clique to steer the 9/11 Truth (more…)

Two quit in protest after Zarembka dumped from Consensus 9/11 Panel

The objective of the Panel is to create a bank of points refuting individual elements of the official story.

By Craig McKee

Two members of David Ray Griffin’s Consensus 9/11 Panel have quit in protest following the dismissal of fellow member Paul Zarembka.

Journalist and author Barrie Zwicker and Pilots For 9/11 Truth core member Shelton Lankford resigned from the Panel last week in solidarity with Zarembka (author of The Hidden History of 9-11) and over disagreements the three have with Griffin and Panel co-founder Elizabeth Woodworth about how the project is being administered.

“I felt Paul’s treatment was kind of a last straw,” Lankford said in an interview. “For me the Consensus Panel process was functioning as a gatekeeper, and evidence deemed controversial was not going to be (more…)

Hollywood 9/11 feature to favour human drama and ‘safe’ evidence

By Craig McKee

Can you make an “uplifting” Hollywood movie about 9/11? Should you try?

If your goal is to encourage people to question the official story, should you focus on the human cost of this horrific event with an eye to making the film a successful piece of dramatic entertainment? What evidence should be examined and what should be left out to avoid controversy within the Truth movement and condemnation from the media?

These questions haven’t been simple ones for first-time screenwriter Howard Cohen, who has written the script for A Violation of Trust (original title: Confession of a 9/11 Conspirator). The setting is the first day of a fictitious new (more…)

The fog of words: how we inadvertently reinforce the 9/11 official story

Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill – Buddha

Words are more treacherous and powerful than we think – Jean-Paul Sartre

By Craig McKee

Words can be used to reveal many truths. They can also obscure the truth, even in ways their users do not intend. Once a particular word used in a particular context has penetrated our consciousness, it’s very hard to dislodge.

Case in point, a favourite term of the 9/11 Truth movement: the “official conspiracy theory” or OCT. This refers to the official story proffered by the government and the “mainstream” media: 19 fundamentalist Muslims led by Osama bin Laden decided one day to punish America for being too darned free.

But it’s not a conspiracy theory. It’s not a theory at all. That’s because the people who created the story know damned well it’s not true. (more…)
