Assassinations

CIA memo leads entire culture to mock ‘conspiracy theories’ in defense of any official story

Attempt to deflect criticism of the Warren Commission Report has become the ultimate weapon against dissent

“Now it’s conspiracy – they’ve made that something that should not even be entertained for a minute, that powerful people might get together and have a plan. Doesn’t happen, you’re a kook, you’re a conspiracy buff!” – George Carlin

By Craig McKee

It has been called the “conspiracy theory” conspiracy.

But it’s not just a theory, it’s a fact. And like more than a few conspiracies it involves the Central Intelligence Agency – specifically a campaign in the 1960s to discredit those challenging the findings of the Warren Commission in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The agency achieved this by linking challenges to the official story with “conspiracy theories.”

It is known as CIA dispatch #1035-960. It was distributed in 1967 but not released to the public until 1976 following a Freedom of Information Act request by the New York Times. On the dispatch were marked “PSYCH” (for psychological warfare) and (more…)

Martin Luther King survived shooting, was murdered in hospital: an interview with William Pepper

MLK 2

For one bright moment back in the late 1960s, we actually believed that we could change our country. We had identified the enemy. We saw it up close, we had its measure, and we were very hopeful that we would prevail. The enemy was hollow where we had substance. All of that substance was destroyed by an assassin’s bullet. – William Pepper (page 15, The Plot to Kill King)

By Craig McKee

The revelations are stunning. The media indifference is predictable.

Thanks to the nearly four-decade investigation by human rights lawyer William Pepper, it is now clear once and for all that Martin Luther King was murdered in a conspiracy that was instigated by then FBI director J. Edgar Hoover and that also involved the U.S. military, the Memphis Police Department, and “Dixie Mafia” crime figures in Memphis, Tennessee. These and many more incredible details of the King assassination are contained in a trilogy of volumes by (more…)

JFK and Jackie

Josiah “Tink” Thompson, the author of Six Seconds in Dallas and a believer that Lee Harvey Oswald fired the shot that killed John F. Kennedy, says that the key evidence in the assassination is the photographic record, because “it authenticates itself.”

You know, because you can see it; that means it has to be real. Just like we know that Sam Neill and Laura Dern have almost been eaten by dinosaurs on several occasions.

But wait. Is it possible that sometimes visual evidence is not authentic? Can we question what our own eyes have seen?

Veteran JFK researcher Jim Fetzer, in a Truth and Shadows interview, says this is absolutely what we must do to get (more…)

Evolution of a truther: JFK assassination and 9/11 bear the same CIA fingerprints

jfk-assassination

Shelton F. Lankford is a retired Lt. Col. with the United States Marine Corps. He is a prominent figure in the 9/11 Truth movement (as a member of Pilots for 9/11 Truth) as well as with the JFK research community. Knowing of Shelton’s long-time involvement in JFK research, I asked him if he would be willing to contribute a piece to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the assassination. I’m delighted that he accepted my invitation. In the days ahead there will be other articles dealing with the Kennedy anniversary.-Craig McKee

By Shelton F. Lankford (Special to Truth and Shadows)

As I stepped off the bus, the first words I heard from our welcoming group were “President Kennedy has been shot.”

I was arriving in Raleigh, N.C. with a group of students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill along with our counterparts from the University of Toronto in Canada. It was my first introduction to an event of such worldwide significance. And it was the first event for which the term “truther” would take on personal meaning. It would not be the last.

The next several days were a period of mourning for someone who had little experience of much of anything, (more…)

Truther-friendly Canadian thriller pulls back curtain on elites’ agenda

The Conspiracy posterThe Conspiracy: Written and directed by Christopher MacBride; starring Aaron Poole and James Gilbert; 84 minutes; to be released in the U.S.A. on August 8.

By Barrie Zwicker (Special to Truth and Shadows)

Is The Conspiracy a motion picture about a larger picture in slow motion – namely what’s usually called the New World Order?

Or is it meant to gently mock that idea?

Only writer/director Christopher MacBride knows for sure. But the ambiguity of a movie that is a mash-up of documentary and thriller/horror genres leaves room for MSM reviewers to be less hostile than they otherwise would be to the script, in which JFK’s assassination, the sinking of the Lusitania, the alleged Gulf of Tonkin incident, and 9/11 all are presented as “inside jobs,” and it is observed that these usually precede wars. False Flags Part 1 – secrecy, cover-ups, and crafted perceptions

Darwin saw what everyone saw, but thought what nobody thought. – Author unknown1

False flags revisedThis is the first part in Barrie Zwicker’s series on false flag operations. The next installment is Maximum Illusion Time.

Part 1: An Introduction

Everyone has seen a False Flag Operation, but few have recognized one. The classic example is 9/11, seen by millions on TV but not recognized for what it really was – a treasonous inside job.

Unlike 9/11 and the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin “attack” (that never took place) and the 1933 torching of the Reichstag, the German parliament building, by Hitler (but which he blamed on “the communists”) not all False Flags are both large and brazen. In this series I will try to give some idea of the dizzying array of forms that False Flags take: false flag events, false flag pseudo-events, false flag front organizations and false flag operators. You can barely open a newspaper without seeing the telltale markings of a False Flag – if you know what these markings are.

What all False Flags have in common is that they are deceptions, a category of phenomena too (more…)

It was suggested to me some months ago by a reader that the name of the 9/11 Truth movement should be changed to the False Flag Awareness movement.

While I didn’t think the suggestion was very practical (how do you go about changing the name of a movement?), the idea of putting 9/11 in the larger context of false flags stayed with me. Not only would it help people to understand what the event was really all about, but it also would show how 9/11 is not unique but instead part of a continuum that goes back centuries.

It makes sense to me that we should work to raise awareness that events like 9/11 are not isolated or outside of the normal pattern of manipulation and control by the powerful over the powerless, they are business as (more…)

Lone-nut scenario implanted in Colorado shooting, Holmes convicted by media

In his initial court appearance, Holmes appeared to have no idea what was happening.

By Craig McKee

The official story is set within hours – sometimes even minutes.

We saw it with the Kennedy assassination(s), the Oklahoma City Bombing, 9/11, and many other proven conspiracies. Now we’re seeing it with the Colorado “Dark Knight” shooting that took place in an Aurora movie theatre on July 20.

Once the official narrative is set, it will rarely change substantially. New details will emerge but the initial story that we’ve been fed is locked in.

The official story of the shootings (in which 12 died and 58 were injured) is that 24-year-old neuroscience student James Holmes was mentally disturbed and acted alone. This is echoed in the media with few exceptions. Any information contradicting the official spin was, and continues to be, buried. Essential questions are not asked.

In the Colorado shooting, the media have focused on whether it was too easy for the suspect to get the weapons he allegedly used. They have questioned whether his psychiatrist told authorities of her concerns about Holmes’s mental state and whether she notified police. They have questioned whether the University of Colorado should have seen the potential for Holmes to commit a violent act and taken preventative action.

Despite early reports that the shooter may have had at least one accomplice, the media have stuck to the script, (more…)
